The Process (10 Steps)
Step 1 — Discovery Call
We learn your goals, timeline, budget range, and the type of guests you want to serve. We’ll cover: facility type, target ages, play capacity, revenue goals. What we need from you: your city/state + ideal opening date.
Step 2 — Concept & Budget Range
We provide a realistic starting range based on footprint, ceiling height, and feature scope. Includes: recommended size, play zones, and “must-haves vs nice-to-haves.” What we need from you: rough square footage + ceiling height (if known).
Step 3 — Location & Space Review
Have a space already? Great. Still searching? We can help you evaluate options. We review: floor plan flow, visibility, emergency exits, entry/check-in layout, party rooms, toddler separation. What we need from you: floor plan or a simple sketch +photos/video walkthrough.
Step 4 — Custom Design & Layout Draft
We create your first design draft and work with you to refine it. Includes: play structure footprint, seating zones, toddler area, traffic flow, feature placement. What we need from you: theme preferences + target age range.
Step 5 — Revisions & Final Design Approval
We revise until the layout meets your goals and fits your space perfectly. You’ll finalize: features, elevations, colors/theme, entry points, and any add-ons. What we need from you: final “yes” on layout + selections.
Step 6 — Proposal & Contract
You receive a detailed proposal outlining scope, deliverables, and production timeline. Then: contract signing + initial deposit to begin production. What we need from you: signed agreement + deposit.
Step 7 — Production & Project Coordination
Your playground goes into manufacturing while we coordinate shipping details and install planning. You’ll get: production milestones and a clear install readiness checklist. What we need from you: install date window + site readiness timeline.
Step 8 — Site Prep & Build-Out Support
While production happens, you prepare your facility so install goes smoothly. Typical prep: flooring, paint/theme, electrical, lighting, party rooms, seating, signage. What we need from you: GC contact (if applicable) + build-out schedule.
Step 9 — Shipping & Delivery
We coordinate freight delivery so your equipment arrives ready for installation. Includes: delivery planning, receiving requirements, and unloading notes. What we need from you: receiving contact + delivery access details.
Step 10 — Installation & Final Walkthrough
Professional installation ensures safety, fit, and long-term durability. Finish line: walkthrough + care guidance so you’re ready for opening day. What we need from you: cleared space + site access during install.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)
How much space do I need for an indoor playground?
Indoor playgrounds can be designed for a wide range of spaces, from compact community rooms to large family entertainment centers.
Small spaces (500–1,500 sq ft): Ideal for churches, rec rooms, childcare centers, schools, and community centers. These layouts often focus on toddler soft play, low-profile climbing elements, crawl tunnels, interactive panels, and modular play components that work well with lower ceilings and multi-use rooms.
Medium spaces (1,500–2,500 sq ft): A popular starting size for church gyms, fellowship halls, kids ministry spaces, and smaller indoor playground businesses. These designs can include a mix of toddler and younger kid play zones with improved flow and higher play capacity.
Large spaces (5,000–10,000+ sq ft): Best suited for family entertainment centers, indoor playground parks, malls, and destination play venues, allowing for multi-level structures, party rooms, and higher guest volume.
Every indoor playground we design is fully customized to maximize play value based on your available square footage, ceiling height, layout constraints, and target age group. Even smaller spaces can deliver engaging, safe, and durable play experiences when designed strategically.
What ceiling height is recommended for an indoor playground?
Recommended ceiling height depends on the type of playground:
10–12 ft ceilings: toddler soft play and low-profile structures
12–15 ft ceilings: standard multi-level indoor playgrounds
15+ ft ceilings: taller, high-capacity play structures
We evaluate ceiling height, sprinklers, lighting, and obstructions to design safely within your space.
Can you design around columns, odd shapes, or low ceilings?
Yes. Our indoor playgrounds are fully custom-designed to work around columns, angled walls, narrow footprints, and low ceilings. We regularly design for challenging commercial spaces and optimize layouts to ensure safety, flow, and maximum play capacity.
Do you offer toddler-only play areas?
Absolutely. We design dedicated toddler soft play areas for children ages 0–3 or 0–4, featuring age-appropriate elements, lower heights, soft obstacles, and clear separation from older kids. Toddler zones improve safety, parent satisfaction, and overall traffic flow.
How long does the indoor playground process take?
Project timelines vary by size and complexity, but most follow this general range:
Design & revisions: 1–3 weeks
Production: 6–10+ weeks
Installation: varies by project size
Site build-out (flooring, paint, electrical) typically runs parallel to production to reduce overall time to opening.
Do you install indoor playgrounds nationwide?
Yes. We work with clients nationwide across the United States, including family entertainment centers, churches, childcare facilities, malls, and community spaces. Installation logistics are coordinated to ensure a smooth and professional setup.
What makes your indoor playgrounds commercial-grade?
Our playgrounds are built using commercial-grade materials designed for high-traffic environments. This includes reinforced steel framing, durable soft play components, high-quality netting, and safety-focused engineering. All designs prioritize longevity, safety, and compliance for commercial use.
What maintenance is required for an indoor playground?
Routine maintenance includes:
Daily visual inspections
Regular cleaning and sanitizing
Scheduled tightening and component checks
We provide clear maintenance guidance to help extend the life of your playground and keep it safe for daily operation.
